Overview:
FSP-OC-ADSS cable is loose tube stranded.Fibers, 250um, are positioned into a loosetube made of high modulus plastics. Thetubes are filled with a water-resistantfilling compound. The tubes (and fillers)are stranded around a FRP (Fiber Rein-forced Plastic) as a nonmetallic centralstrength member into a compact andcircular cable core. After the cable core isfilled with filling com-pound. it is coveredwith thin PE (polyethylene) inner sheath.After stranded layer of aramid yarns areapplied over the inner sheath as strengthmember, the cable is completed with PE orAT (antitracking) outer sheath.
